About Insight Early Learning Throsby
Conveniently located off Horse Park Drive with lovely views of pristine bushland, Insight Early Learning Throsby is creating a community of learners where play is at the heart of the curriculum. The light-filled Centre has been designed to stimulate children's natural curiosity and sense of exploration.
The Centre's Nature Program focuses on creating environments that will provoke learning and provide opportunities for children to learn and grow through play.
In addition to our STEM curriculum we spend a lot of time playing in, and learning about nature. Our real mud kitchen is a great addition to our playscape and not only gives the children to explore, get messy and have fun - it also provides a variety of learning opportunities including imaginative, sensory, creative and exploratory play.
We have a family of little turtles that the children help to raise and our most popular program with both children and educators is BUSH KINDER. This program sees our children walk across to Mulligans Flat Woodland Sanctuary learning about the ecosystem that is right on their doorstep. Playing in the trees and pointing out the local flora and fauna, this gives the opportunity for social development, teamwork, exploration and an understanding of the cycles of nature.
Being involved with families is very important to us in the centre - we encourage sharing of families stories and incorporate photos of parents and extended families in our learning journals. We also encourage parents to come in to share their professions or lead us in storytime if they wish.
We are thrilled to share that we have received an outstanding evaluation from the Department of Education under the National Quality Standards. We take great pride in achieving a rating of "Exceeding the National Quality Standard," demonstrating our commitment to providing exceptional early learning services to our community.

Priscila, Centre Director
My name is Priscila, and I come from a diverse background, being of Japanese and Italian descent, born and raised in Brazil. I am happily married to a supportive husband and a proud mother of a cheeky little girl who keeps both her educators and me on our toes!
My passion for working with children began during my early teenage years when I started guiding and supporting the children in my local church in Brazil. I have always had a natural inclination to nurture and build relationships with children and others, fostering an environment of mutual respect.
In 2013, I made the exciting move to Australia, where I began my journey in early childhood care and education and have had the opportunity to grow and learn each time a new child came to stay under my care.
I feel immense pride in leading the exceptional team of educators at Insight Early Learning Throsby. I value each one of them, as they are on the front line, ensuring that the children at Throsby thrive and reach their full potential in life.
My mission is to inspire our Insight team, families, and children not to fear failure because when we are not scared of making mistakes, we keep trying, learning, growing and thriving!
